Do you enjoy writing poems or short stories? Would you like to try your hand at recreating your memories of Lytham? We are inviting the Lytham community to contribute to an anthology of fiction which will be published in time for The Festival of Stories: a brand new event coming to Lytham in May 2013.

If you’d like to be part of this exciting new project, please fill out an entry form which can be found here, or as hard copy in Lytham Library, or in the cafe at ParkView4U.

If you’re age 16+ and you’d like some guidance about how to start writing, why not come along to our FREE Creative Writing workshop, with writer, Jane Brunning, at ParkView4U Community Cafe on Monday 26th November at 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Jane will be using photographs and artefacts to help you write about family, history and memory, to get your creative ideas flowing.

Places on the creative writing workshop are limited however, so booking is essential. Please call Cath or Julie at ParKView4U to reserve a place: 01253 741955.

For more information about how to submit to this anthology and for submission rules please click here, or call into the cafe at ParkView4U, or Lytham Library, and pick up the details. Completed entries should be submitted by hand to Lytham Library or via email to Lythamfiction@gmail.com by 28th February 2013.
